The William Baker Papers contain legal and financial records and some correspondence concerning, primarily, land transactions in the Town of Fort Ann, Washington County, New York. Many of the papers pertain to the estate of Franklin Haskins, 1839-1855. Anthony Haskins and William Baker were administrators of the estate. There are documents concerning Moses Draper, Samuel Draper, and Simmons Woodruff, all from Fort Ann; and Nathaniel Wheeler, from the Town of White Creek.
